About the Association and Our Commitment to Preservation

The Big Cedar Lake Stewardship Association (BCLSA) is a non-profit corporation and was formed in the spring of 2011, initially to find a way to control the amount of Eurasian Milfoil and has evolved to the general stewardship of the lake.

About the Association

Established in 2011, the organization first came together to fight the invasive species Eurasian Water Milfoil.

Since that time, the beauty of Big Cedar Lake, the joy it brings us and the need to ensure its long-term sustainability has kept the BCLSA together.

We are a non-profit organization and open to all property owners (seasonal or permanent residents) on the lake.

The Association is governed by a Board of caring volunteers who are elected each year by BCLSA members at the Annual General Meeting.

We welcome you and hope you will become a member.
